Full-time  KS2 Teaching Assistant 

The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible General Teaching Assistant to support the learning initially in KS2. The successful candidates will be a valuable part of our whole school team and also willing to take on a general Midday Supervisory Role .  

We are a lively, dynamic team, with drive and enthusiasm.  We need someone who will enhance and enrich the provision for the children in our successful inclusive school.

Part-time Cleaning Supervisor

16 hours per week – Cleaning Supervisor

St Johns Primary school is situated in Knaresborough and is a friendly, caring school which encourages children to be self-disciplined and respectful. We have the opportunity for you to join our team as a Cleaning Supervisor where your dedication to the role will enhance the children’s learning environment.

Working for NYCC as a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be required to assist in the supervision of the cleaning assistants working at the school through monitoring their areas, dealing with any issues promptly and feeding back to management as required, as well as accommodating requests from school staff.

In addition to this you will be responsible for your own cleaning duties in your designated area which include vacuuming, sanitary cleaning and dusting. Full training will be provided and the hours of work are approximately 3.30 – 6.45pm and totalling to 16 hours per week. No weekend work! For this you will be paid £7.97 per hour.
