PTA

Welcome to the PTA section of the School website.

The Friends of Knaresborough St Johns (FoKSJ or Friends) is the name given to the school’s Parent and Teacher Association (PTA).

The PTA is a voluntary committee of parents and staff which organises events to provide additional equipment/items to benefit the children.

The events that we organise include parties, summer BBQ, cake sales and the Christmas Fayre, to name but a few. The money raised has been used recently to buy a sound system (microphones and speakers) for the hall, to subsidise the cost of school trips and to develop a sensory garden in the Infant Quad.

All this with money raised at events supported by the children and their families.

We thank our school families for their support and hope that that will continue to support the events we have planned for the new academic year.

Upcoming Friends Events - Please see dates for your diary.

To obtain gift aid we need to change the name of the PTA from Castle PTA to Friends of Knaresborough St John's PTA. Please see the link regarding this. Consititution
